    The OBV-25 power‑brake valve and the HXQ accumulator are used in the braking systems of 5–10‑ton forklifts. With the engine running, depressing the power‑brake valve with the foot activates both the forklift’s brakes and charges the accumulator. When the engine is shut off, pressing the valve again uses the pressurized fluid stored in the accumulator to actuate the brakes, providing braking force. The brake valve is operated by foot pressure, with a linear relationship between pedal force and output pressure, delivering a comfortable pedal feel. The accumulator is equipped with an alarm switch connected to an indicator; when the pressure falls below the required level, the alarm sounds, prompting the operator to replenish the accumulator and ensuring it maintains sufficient pressurized fluid for reliable braking. The combination of the OBV‑E25L power‑brake valve and the HXQ accumulator effectively meets the braking requirements of forklifts under three operating conditions—traveling, parking, and emergency stopping—while offering dependable performance and finding wide application in hydraulic braking systems for forklifts and other construction machinery. When used in conjunction with the E45E5‑40211 safety valve, this setup prevents complete backflow of hydraulic fluid during unloading, ensuring rapid recharging and more reliable braking on subsequent applications.
