This milestone signifies that HCHC has reached an internationally advanced level in quality management systems, process control, and continuous improvement capabilities, laying a solid foundation for entering the global high-end automotive supply chain market.
About IATF 16949
IATF 16949 is a globally recognized automotive quality management standard developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). Based on ISO 9001, it integrates best practices from the global automotive manufacturing industry and imposes stringent requirements on product safety, risk management, supply chain control, and continuous improvement.
Achieving this certification is a fundamental requirement for cooperation with world-class automotive manufacturers and their suppliers.
From Compliance to Excellence: Creating Value
The successful certification marks an important milestone in HCHC’s development journey. It is not merely a certificate, but a reflection of the company’s long-term commitment to the philosophy of “Quality First, Customer Foremost”, as well as the result of continuous pursuit of excellence by all employees.
Through the implementation of the IATF 16949 system, HCHC has achieved the following improvements:
1. System Upgrade
A unified and standardized quality management system has been established, ensuring that the entire process—from order receipt to product delivery—is fully controlled and traceable.
2. Strengthened Process Approach
The IATF 16949 system places strong emphasis on process control. The company has effectively applied core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and CP, ensuring strong alignment between design and production, and improving product reliability and consistency.
3. Enhanced Customer Orientation
Customer-specific requirements are seamlessly integrated into the quality management system, enabling fast and accurate responses to diverse global customer needs and continuously improving customer satisfaction.
4. Supply Chain Optimization
Higher requirements for supply chain management have driven coordinated quality improvement across the entire supplier ecosystem, strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of the industrial chain.
Strengthening Foundations for the Future
The implementation of the IATF 16949 system took two years and involved full participation across the organization. Systematic training, process mapping, and documentation development were carried out. Continuous improvements were made using tools such as VDA 6.3 audits, ensuring ongoing optimization of processes and products.
The company also increased investment in production and inspection capabilities, upgrading manufacturing and testing processes to ensure the effectiveness, suitability, and efficiency of the system.
Looking Ahead
The successful certification further strengthens HCHC’s core competitiveness in both domestic and international markets and expands its future development space, injecting strong momentum into sustainable growth.
Moving forward, the company will continue to deepen the application of the IATF 16949 system, uphold higher standards of quality assurance, deliver greater value-added solutions to customers, and contribute to the high-quality development of the industry.
